The Rat Thing
Two down and out friends living in Venice, CA hatch a wild "get rich quick" scheme involving one of them being bitten by a rat in a major supermarket in hopes of winning an outrageously huge settlement. What transpires is a perfect example of "the best laid plans of mice and men" going astray in one comic turn after another until finally, depravity gives way to humanity. Downwinders:The People of Parowan
Downwinders have been called 'the silent veterans of the Cold War'. From 1951 to 1962, the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission conducted a series of over 100 atmospheric atomic bomb tests at the Yucca Flats, Nevada Test Site. While assuring American citizens these tests posed no harm, the bombs were detonated only when the winds were blowing northeast. The documentary 'Downwinders: The People of Parowan' takes an intimate look at the effects of nuclear weapons testing. The resulting damage and deaths have become a legacy for many southern Utah towns - including Parowan. The strength and will of the people to restore their community is an inspiring testament of the human spirit. San Fernando Valley International Film Festival

The Second Annual Emerging Filmmakers Screening Series
Division III is a satirical comedy that sees a journalist find out the inner workings of a football team and its unorthodox coach. It starred Marshall Cook and Andy Dick, and went down incredibly well with the comedy-hungry audience. Laughs throughout, it was a triumphant success. > TheCinemaSource
